Manifest your Life
I was listening to a podcast the other day and it felt very relevant to what I have talked about recently and before relating to how we create a life for ourselves. I have used the terms exude and embody as a way to act outwardly so that our external life becomes a reflection of who we want to be and who we are on the inside. Someone who is curious is then curious about life, asking questions and finding the wonder in life. Or someone who experiences joy needs to seek joy in their life. This podcast said a similar thing in that we create our reality. We, our thoughts and our actions create our reality. If we think or act away from joy, our life will be void of joy. Or if we don’t ask questions or wonder about the world then we are not living that in reality.
However, it goes deeper than just that on the surface. On the surface you need to exude and embody those characteristics and you will attract those characteristics into your life. But you also need to get your brain on the same page. Our brain is going to play a bigger role than we imagine in creating that reality. In fact our beliefs that we tell ourselves influence our thoughts and our thoughts influence our actions and our actions influence our life and reality. So in order to change our reality we need to change our beliefs.
Think about the negative or limiting beliefs you may have about yourself. Those beliefs influence your thoughts about specific scenarios and inturn affect how you act in that scenario and impact your world. If you think you aren’t worthy or good enough for a certain situation you will think that you won’t get a job, so you don’t even apply or if you do you don’t think that you are the best person suited for the role, then in reality you won’t get the job and will be passed over. This can lead to frustration and disappointment. But what if you took the belief that you were worthy. That you took that thought and stepped forward into action. You started acting like someone who had that job, your reality would start to shift and you would become that person. A simple change in belief can change your world.
Three years ago I was in the process of graduation, thinking I would become a practicing attorney, even though my heart and soul tugged me in a different direction. But slowly I started following that tug and I started to act like an expert of mental health and well being. I started sharing and being authentic and deliberate in my actions around these conversations. And now today I have created a life where I am one really really happy and two one that I was able to shape and create. I put into the world and universe the version of me that I wanted to show up and then I acted how that version would.
I created my dream life. I changed my beliefs and my thoughts and started to act on them to create my new reality. I manifested this version of me and have created other opportunities through similar methods.
There is a quote that I think sums all this up nicely: “I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul." You are the one in charge of your life. You have the power to let it get you down or you can go out there and claim your destiny. No one is stopping you. You are in charge. So now go out there and take it.
